L'Alliance Française de Hong Kong (AFHK) 法國文化協會 was founded in 1953. It is a chapter of l'Alliance française, the world’s largest network of cultural associations.The AFHK is a non-profit making organization. It is directed by a board made up of local personalities from the fields of culture, education and business.
The AFHK it's:
- French courses for adults, teenagers and children
- A French multimedia library (la mediathèque)
- French cultural and social events in partnership with local and international institutions such as the French speaking festival, the French Cinepanorama (Hong Kong French Film Festival) or Le French May.
- PAROLES, a bilingual cultural magazine (French and Chinese) which is the longest running cultural magazine in Hong Kong.
