Background: Our client is a well-established SI firm and they are seeking for a hands-on technical Java developer (Senior Analyst Programmer/ System Analyst) to join their application team for a Government Project.
Responsibilities:
• For SA role: Responsible for the overall design of the technical system architecture supporting for the implementation of systems, including the adoption, integration and transition of all related technologies and components. Select technical options and perform system sizing
• Perform system analysis, design & coding, documentation, conduct SAT, provide support to customer during the User Acceptance Tests, UAT and production rollout
• Study use cases and collecting user requirements
• Design data migration and conversion strategies
• Generate system specifications and ensure conformance of software packages with user requirements
• Conducting system testing; system installation and server maintenance; and
• Possess hands-on experience for web-based application systems implementation.
• Perform application documentation tasks
Requirements:
• Technically proficient in Java development experience
• 4-10+ years’ hands-on experience in application development
• Highly preferred to have worked on Government Projects previously
• Solid understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and agile methodologies
• Proficient in application documenting skill
• Strong problem-solving, collaboration abilities and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication skills in Chinese and English
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
• Candidates with more years of experience will be considered for a System Analyst position, where those with less years of experience will be considered for an Analyst Programmer/Senior Analyst Programmer position
