A market-neutral crypto arbitrage hedge fund is seeking an experienced Senior Tech Lead / Architect to lead the development of its next-generation trading and risk management platform. The successful candidate will guide a small, high-performing tech team into the "Rustiverse" and collaborate closely with the CEO to drive innovation and improve system performance.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead the development of a cutting-edge front office trading and risk management system using Rust.
• Manage and mentor a team of developers (currently 3 people).
• Collaborate with the CEO and other key stakeholders to deliver scalable and efficient trading solutions.
• Oversee the evolution of the existing platform to support new products, particularly a suite of derivatives-aligned offerings.
• Ensure platform connectivity with multiple global exchanges.
Requirements:
• Experience in Rust is essential.
• Previous experience working at a hedge fund or in a financial trading environment.
• Strong leadership skills, with a proven ability to manage small teams.
• In-depth knowledge of trading systems and risk management processes.
• Must be based in Hong Kong (some flexibility for hybrid working for exceptional candidates).
