We have a current opportunity for Data full stack lead for a reputable international banking group. The position will be based in Guangzhou. For further information about this position please apply.
• Full stack data engineering includes all SDLC lifecycle and adopt DevOps & Agile best practices to build, manage and support data platform and applications
• Candidate(s) are expected to work effectively to collaborate with internal clients and other development teams across borders, work effectively under pressure
• Develop, manage and support data applications and governance on GCP
• Develop, manage and support in-house built AI/ML applications on GCP
• Coordinate work to ensure successful project delivery with good quality
• Candidate(s) would be required to work stream(s) independently in a reasonable timeframe in case of project need.
• Follow IT engineering standards and practices; and proposal improvement suggestion on project deliveries.
• Create and maintain technical documentation using defined technical documentation templates
• Role key requirements and nice to have skill
• Strong understanding and project experience in designing, development, optimization and management of data systems based on any of Data Warehouse/Data Lake/Lake House/Data Mesh
• Strong understanding and project experiences on standard NLP and search engine using Pytorch, Rasa, OpenSearch or their alternatives and Good understanding and experiences on building ML pipelines; understandings and experiences about LLM and related toolchains or frameworks such as langchain is a plus
• Good understanding and project experiences of developing or using tools/frameworks/platforms to support data governance, such as Atlas, Openmetadata, Collibra, BigID or equivalent
• Good understanding and project experience in backend development in Python using FastAPI or alternatives
• Good understanding and project experiences of GCP tech stack including BigQuery, GCE and CloudSQL PostgreSQL; understanding and experiences about Pub/Sub, GKE and CloudRun is a plus; Alternatives are AWS, Azure and Alicloud.
• Understand DevOps and Agile practices, having experiences of using CI/CD solutions using Jenkins, Ansible, Terraform etc.
