Our client is an expanding Regional Banking Group with solid business performances across its Retail Banking, Private Banking, Global Banking & Markets businesses in Asia. As part of strategic growth, an excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Financial Planning & Analysis Professional to join the Bank, leading a team in Technology & Operations Finance, based in Hong Kong.

The key responsibilities for this position are as follows:

• Senior Lead role in Financial Planning & Analysis responsible for Technology, Operations and various other support functions financials including budgeting, forecasting, expense reporting & analysis

• Take charge of the preparation of financial analysis and budgets for senior management, business and functions stakeholders

• In additional to Technology and Operations, responsible for expenses analysis for all the supporting units including Projects, Real Estate and Occupancy related financials

• Prepare budgets, manage cost allocation and intercompany changes and reconciliations

• Create analytical tools, design dashboards and apply data visualization tools for data presentation

• Perform expense analysis and cost management / cost control by tracking and monitoring bank-wide overall expenses and cost allocations

• Review and approve payments to external parties

• Work with the regional team on country level initiatives, transformation projects and Finance system development

Successful applicants will have the following skills and experience:

• University degree

• Minimum 12 years relevant experience in financial planning and analysis, management accounting, expense management, cost accounting, business finance, business management gained from Banking, Insurance, Asset Management, sizeable financial institutions

• Prior experience in Technology, Operations, Real Estate Finance or Business Management would be advantageous

• Familiarity to data analytics tools and visualization tools would be highly beneficial

• Solid data management, quantitative and analytical skills

• Good stakeholder management skills

• Asia experience is a must

• Excellent communication skills with fluency in English, Cantonese or Mandarin
