Key Responsibilities

We are looking for a dynamic and talented Business Development professional to join the growing commercial team in our Hong Kong office, working on our portfolio of Events.

This is a combined new business and account management role working across a set of defined international territories. You would be responsible nurturing and closing new business prospects and selling a variety sponsorship packages to new clients, whilst also using your relationship management and negotiation skills to renew and upsell existing clients via telephone / screenshare presentations and email communications.

What you would be doing:

• Generate new business and grow existing accounts across a set of defined geographical territories.

• Develop and implement plans to meet and exceed quarterly new business targets.

• Develop in-depth market and sector knowledge of clients and competitors that is shared within the company to enhance the client experience and product development.

• Sector-focused lead generation tasks.

Skills Knowledge and Expertise

What we are looking for:

• Fluent English capability (knowledge of other Asian languages a plus)

• Commercial experience in a customer-facing sales role, experience in the events industry is a plus

• Excellent communication skills – both verbal and written

• Highly motivated, target oriented and good influencing skills

• Strong organisational skills

• Good relationship building skills

• An understanding in the legal sector would be desirable but not essential
