Role Overview:
As a Senior Java Engineer, you will focus on the development and maintenance of robust fiat microservices, integrating seamlessly with internal blockchain systems and third-party payment APIs. This role offers opportunities to work across diverse services, contributing to the efficiency and security of the exchange platform.
Key Responsibilities:
• Design, build, and maintain reliable Java backend microservices.
• Support the integration of additional fiat payment service providers.
• Collaborate closely with global engineering teams, product managers, and project managers.
• Write secure, well-tested, and maintainable code using TDD approaches.
What We’re Looking For:
• Experience: 5+ years as a Java backend engineer with strong proficiency in Java 8+ features, including Java Collections and Concurrency.
• Technical Skills: Hands-on expertise in Java frameworks like Spring Boot or Micronaut, testing tools such as JUnit and Mockito, and DevOps practices (Git, Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD).
• Messaging Technologies: Familiarity with RabbitMQ or similar tools.
• API Knowledge: Strong experience in API design and integration.
Bonus Skills:
• Experience with payment processing systems (e.g., credit cards, PayPal, SWIFT, ACH).
• Familiarity with Payment Service Provider APIs (e.g., Stripe, Global Payments).
• Exposure to blockchain or crypto technology.
• Knowledge of Google Cloud Platform or traditional financial services.
