About The Role

As the Global Business Developer, you will work closely with the Chief Commercial Officer (CCO), leveraging your commercial expertise to strengthen customer relationships and drive strategic growth. This position requires regular global travel and collaboration with local sales teams to deliver innovative solutions and exceptional business results.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Leadership

• Develop and execute the global strategy for the business unit to achieve revenue, profit, and market share goals.

• Manage the P&L, ensuring consistent growth and profitability across multiple regions.

• Identify critical markets, challenges, and opportunities, guiding regional sales teams effectively.

Business Development

• Regular travel and engagement build and maintain strong relationships with key global customers.

• Partner with local sales teams to identify, pursue, and secure new business opportunities.

• Represent the company at global industry events, conferences, and trade shows.

Operational Excellence

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, operations, and R&D, to ensure seamless execution of customer-focused strategies.

• Analyze market trends, competitive activities, and customer feedback to guide innovation and refine strategies.

• Create detailed forecasts and business plans, monitoring performance to achieve objectives.

Team Collaboration

• Mentor and support regional sales teams, providing leadership to align efforts and achieve unified goals.

• Serve as a communication bridge between global headquarters and regional teams, ensuring alignment and clarity.

Qualifications

Education & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, International Relations, or a related field; MBA preferred.

• 8–10 years of experience in global business development, sales, or P&L management, ideally in a multinational B2B environment.

• Experience in the automotive industry is a plus

• Proven success in driving business growth across multiple regions.

Skills & Competencies

• Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.

• Strong analytical and financial expertise with deep P&L management knowledge.

• Strategic negotiation and relationship management abilities.

• Comfortable working in multicultural, cross-time-zone environments.

• Willingness to travel extensively (50–70%).
