Join our team as a Trading Sales Assistant and support both front Office Sales & Trading team! This position presents the candidate with an excellent opportunity to work closely with the front office. If you are self-motivated and have ability to work under pressure and multitasking, you are the one!
Your new role
• Work closely with Front Office Sales & Trading and ensure trades and pnl are correctly captured
• Prepare trade recaps and term sheets for clients
• Ensure trades are correctly reflected in front and back systems and tie out with Counterparty
• Understanding front to back systems STP flows and investigate issues
• Work closely with Controllers, Settlements, Confirmations and Reconciliation teams to resolve any issues
• Develop related infrastructure / systems / processes
• Structured product business.
• Prepare metrics and reporting for senior management
What you'll need to succeed
• At least 1-2 years in a relevant front or middle office role at a recognized financial institution
• Language Skills: English and Mandarin, Cantonese a plus
• Good knowledge in options, swaps and structured products. Quantitative Finance background a plus
• Attention to details.
• Team player with strong analytical, numerical and interpersonal skills
• Self-motivated and ability to work under pressure and multitasking
• Knowledge in excel VBA a plus
