  1. Make sure the webpage is open.
  2. In the Safari app on your Mac, choose Safari > Preferences, then click Security.
  3. Make sure the Enable JavaScript checkbox is selected.
  4. Click Websites.
  5. On the left, click Content Blockers.
  6. Make sure Off is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.
  7. On the left, click Pop-up Windows.
  8. Make sure Allow is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.

Computer Technician II (carrying the job title of ‘Software Developer’)

Join our dynamic team as a Computer Technician II, carrying the job title of ‘Software Developer’, and play a key role in advancing our cutting-edge technology ecosystem. We are looking for a talented individual to contribute to the Knowledge and Education Exchange Platform (KEEP) and VeriGuide education solutions, leveraging advanced technologies such as Generative AI, Natural Language Processing, and sentiment analysis.

The appointee will be responsible for (a) developing, testing, and supporting new features in our KEEP e-learning web and AI applications; (b) engaging in various projects, workshops, and presentations; and (c) assisting in software design and preparing comprehensive software documentation.

Applicants should have (i) a Bachelor’s degree or advanced diploma/certificate in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related discipline; (ii) at least 1 year’s experience in web application development; (iii) proficiency in web frontend development using React, Node.js, TypeScript, and Python; (iv) experience in database systems like MySQL; (v) strong self-motivation, analytical and problem-solving skills, and the ability to work effectively as part of a team; and (vi) an excellent command of spoken and written English and Chinese. Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.

The appointment will initially be made on a 1-year contract, renewable subject to good performance and mutual agreement.
