Visitor Services Officer (Retail Sales) (Working Location: HKIA)

M+ is a museum dedicated to collecting, exhibiting, and interpreting visual art, design and architecture, moving image, and Hong Kong visual culture of the twentieth and twenty-first centuries. Located in Hong Kong’s WestK, we are one of the leading museums of modern and contemporary visual culture in the world. The museum reflects our unique time and place, building on Hong Kong’s historic balance of the local and the international to define a distinctive and innovative voice for Asia’s twenty-first century. You will be responsible for: assisting in the set-up of Pop-up Store at Hong Kong International Airport (HKIA); handling all cash and point of sales transactions in the Pop-up Store at HKIA; delivering excellent customer service to walk-in customers and maximizing sales; maintaining cleanliness and visual standards in the pop-up store; assisting with daily store operations and sales activities, such as packing / unpacking the stock; performing other ad hoc duties as and when required. You should: possess higher diploma or above in any disciplines; have a minimum 1 year of relevant experience in art venues, tourism, hospitality or retail sector; be service-orientated with good communication and interpersonal skills; possess excellent oral and written communication skills in English, Chinese and Putonghua; proficiency in other languages is an advantage; be able to work at least 2 days per week; including weekends, holidays, late evenings shift according to a roster that is determined by the Authority and actual work schedule and number of work days per week may vary depending on workload demand; and Working Location: Hong Kong International Airport.
