Business Development Manager
Key Responsibilities:
• Identify, analyze, and propose business solutions for major accounts, including e-platforms, consolidators, and direct e-sellers.
• Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve targets set by the company, driving continuous growth and maximizing returns.
• Gather insights on market trends and customer needs to inform management with actionable recommendations.
• Build and manage a robust business pipeline that aligns with sales plans, ensuring efficient sales operations and sustainable new business development.
• Maintain regular communication with existing clients to enhance retention and foster long-term business relationships.
• Analyze the trading portfolio to identify potential threats and opportunities.
• Support business development initiatives related to logistics and warehousing.
• Oversee and coordinate special services related to warehousing, local transport, and airfreight as needed.
• Provide weekly sales updates and prepare for quarterly performance reviews.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree, preferably in Business or Logistics Management.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in sales or account management within the transport logistics sector.
• Strong understanding of e-platforms, cross-border eCommerce, and air freight forwarding.
• Proficient in both English and Chinese (Cantonese & Mandarin).
• Exceptional negotiation and interpersonal skills.
• Business-oriented mindset, adaptable, and proactive with a solutions-driven approach.
• Ability to collaborate effectively in a multicultural team environment.
• Willingness to travel to China as required.
