  1. Make sure the webpage is open.
  2. In the Safari app on your Mac, choose Safari > Preferences, then click Security.
  3. Make sure the Enable JavaScript checkbox is selected.
  4. Click Websites.
  5. On the left, click Content Blockers.
  6. Make sure Off is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.
  7. On the left, click Pop-up Windows.
  8. Make sure Allow is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.

  2. Click. then Settings.
  3. Click Privacy and Security.
  4. Click Site settings.
  5. Click JavaScript.
  6. Select Sites can use Javascript.

Renowned e-commerce and logistics platform with a sizeable global presence is expanding its legal department

The Company

My client is a renowned multinational e-commerce platform with a vast supply chain and logistics network. Their operations have experienced tremendous growth in the past 12 months and there are now plans to expand the legal function to accommodate this growth. Reporting to the legal lead, this is a fantastic opportunity to join an expanding organisation which houses a legal team made up of lawyers from international law firms.

Responsibilities

• Supporting business operations including drafting and reviewing a variety of commercial contracts, advising on issues arise from its daily operations and conducting internal compliance reviews

• Working with legal teams in the US and EU on international regulatory and compliance matters

• Assisting on e-commerce, website and mobile application related to compliance and data privacy issues

• Ad hoc duties such as company secretarial and other BAU commercial works

Requirements

• Common law admitted lawyers with 2-3+ PQE

• Exposures in e-commerce, logistics and supply chains would be ideal though not essential

• Those from private practice would also be considered though candidates must possess strong commercial acumen and entrepreneurial mindset

• Literacy in Chinese, including spoken Mandarin is required
