Job Description

Strategic Portfolio Planning:

• Align the project portfolio with the company's strategic objectives and business goals.

• Work closely with senior management to define and prioritize projects based on strategic value, ROI, and resource availability.

Project Prioritization and Selection:

• Evaluate potential projects based on feasibility, alignment with strategic objectives, and potential ROI.

• Prioritize projects to ensure optimal allocation of resources and alignment with business priorities.

Portfolio Performance Monitoring and Reporting:

• Monitor the performance of the project portfolio against key performance indicators (KPIs) and strategic and business objectives and key results (OKRs).

• Provide regular updates and reports to senior management on portfolio status, risks, and opportunities.

Resource Allocation and Capacity Planning:

• Collaborate with Lead PO's, Program Managers, Project Managers and functional business owners to allocate resources effectively across projects.

• Conduct capacity planning to ensure that the organization has the right resources (people, budget, technology) to execute the project portfolio.

Risk Management:

• Identify, assess, and mitigate risks associated with projects in the portfolio.

• Develop and implement risk mitigation strategies to ensure successful project delivery.

Stakeholder Engagement and Communication:

• Engage with internal and external stakeholders to gather input, provide updates, and ensure alignment on portfolio priorities and objectives.

• Foster strong relationships with cross-functional teams, project managers, and business owners to facilitate collaboration and communication.

Continuous Improvement:

• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance the efficiency, effectiveness, and maturity of the project management processes.

• Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in portfolio management to drive innovation and excellence.

The Successful Applicant

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, or related field

• Experience in Strategy Management, Project Management, or related role, preferably within the ecommerce or technology industry.

• Strong understanding of Project Portfolio Management (PPM) principles, methodologies, and best practices.

• Excellent analytical, strategic planning, and decision-making skills.

• Proven ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.

• Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder engagement skills.

• Proficiency in portfolio management tools, project management software, and Microsoft Office Suite.
