We are on the lookout for a dynamic and versatile Marketing and Publicity Officer to enhance our profile both locally and internationally. Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with the Marketing Manager to develop and execute successful promotional strategies, including planning and implementing publicity for our catalog of 35-50 new titles each year in both English and Chinese.

• Cultivate and nurture strong relationships with authors and key stakeholders across the industry.

• Coordinate book reviews and media interviews with local and international outlets to maximize visibility.

• Organize and manage participation in local and overseas book fairs.

• Create engaging and compelling content to broaden the reach of each publication across various channels.

• Support various marketing projects and events as required, showcasing versatility and teamwork.

Qualifications:

• A recognized degree with a minimum of 3 years of experience in the publishing industry or relevant marketing fields.

• A passion for books and a creative mindset to navigate the nuances of academic publishing.

• Strong ability to work both independently and collaboratively, thriving under pressure while adapting to new challenges.

• Excellent communication skills in both English and Chinese.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Adobe Creative Cloud (Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign), as well as social media and website management.

• Prior experience in book sales, media relations, marketing copywriting, and creating promotional materials for academic and trade audiences is highly desirable.
