Our client, a leading insurance group, is looking for a Tech Director in Agency Technology Delivery and Product Management. Our client is building innovative solutions that enhance the client's operational efficiency and customer experience. As the business grows, they are seeking a Senior Lead to join the team and lead digital technology initiatives.
Job Description:
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee the development, implementation, and maintenance of POS systems and other Agency Technology solutions.
Lead and manage a team of IT professionals, providing guidance, mentorship, and support to ensure optimal performance and professional growth.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product team, business, and senior leaders to deliver technology projects on time and within budget, ensuring alignment with business goals and objectives.
Develop and implement IT strategies, policies, and procedures to enhance system reliability, security, and scalability.
Manage vendor relationships and negotiate contracts to ensure the best value for the company.
Monitor and assess emerging technologies and industry trends to identify opportunities for innovation and improvement.
Provide technical expertise and support to internal and external stakeholders as needed.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in IT management, with a focus on POS systems and Agency Technology.
Strong life insurance domain knowledge especially in the full product life cycle.
Strong technical skills, with hands-on experience in software development, system integration, and network administration.
Proven track record of successfully managing technology projects and delivering results.
Excellent leadership and people management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to think strategically and make data-driven decisions.
Excellent communication in English and Cantonese, with the ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues, clients, and vendors.
