Project Scope: The project is to Analyze current resource utilization of out application on Cloud and Identify underutilized or idle resources. These unproductive resources are to be eliminated to optimization current setup. Also review how to Implement auto-scaling policy to dynamically allocate resources base on demand and build some monitoring around this setup to track uptime and generate alerts via a dashboard setup
Deliverables:
• Analysis of Usage Data and producing an optimization plan
• Auto-scaling and/or Airflow / Spring Cloud Task migration
• Setup Heartbeat/Metric Beat and Monitoring dashboard
During this project, you will understand our technology setup and our software development practices which will guide you in your work. You will have access to a diverse range of training materials to help you succeed, covering various aspects of technology, including but not limited to technical skills, communication skills, build some leadership skills and relationship / stake holder management.
Profile required
• Currently studying towards a Bachelors or Masters degree in IT, Computer Science, Data Analytics or similar
• Strong analytical skill to interpret data and provide actionable insight
• Hands on programming skills with Java, Spring Boot, Python
• Knowledge of some cloud based technologies like AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, Oracle would be an advantage
• English language skills are essential

Department Description
As part of Front Office facing tech group within GBTO department, the Financing dev team oversees development and support of tools used by Equity Prime Brokerage and Security finance traders, sales, and operations.
The Asia team is composed of 7 developers along with application support analysts across Hong Kong and Tokyo location. All HK developers are based in dealing room and interact daily with the Front and Middle Office teams. Asia team works in partnership with offshore team based in Bangalore to deliver solutions for our business partners.
