We are partnering with a reputable MNC in the hospitality industry to find a Senior Product/ Business Development Manager to lead their APAC expansion. This role will spearhead the region's commercial strategy, optimize performance, and build a high-performing team. The successful candidate will be a key driver of growth and market share within this dynamic market.
Responsibilities:
• Develop and execute the APAC commercial strategy, identifying and pursuing growth opportunities.
• Expand the hotel portfolio through competitive offers, including identifying, qualifying, negotiating, and onboarding new hotels.
• Manage and mentor a team of Account Managers/Sales representatives, setting goals and providing support.
• Oversee the performance of the APAC market, monitoring KPIs and developing action plans to maximize results.
• Conduct competitive benchmarking to ensure market competitiveness and optimal pricing strategies.
• Establish regular management reports and contribute to process optimization.
• Recruit, train, and onboard new team members, fostering a positive and high-performing work environment.
• Collaborate with key account teams based in Paris to strengthen existing relationships and secure new accounts.
• Contribute to the opening of operations in new APAC countries.
Requirements:
• Master's degree or equivalent.
• Fluency in English and Chinese (Mandarin and Cantonese).
• Minimum 5 years' experience as an Account Manager or Area Manager.
• Proven experience leading a team.
• Strong sales experience and passion for business development and negotiation.
• Proficiency in CRM software.
• Analytical mindset with a data-driven approach.
• Experience in the hospitality or OTA market (preferred).
• Knowledge of Asian culture through prior experience in Asia.
• Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines.
• Proficiency in Google Suite and Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
