Job Description
• Developing new business relationships, with a variety of intermediaries; brokers and customers, and seeking new ways of driving profitable growth.
• Manages a variety of distribution channels in order to achieve specified growth and profitability targets.
• Appoints to client segments in accordance with client service required, profitability and potential.
• Seek out new prospects, assessment of client needs and selection of potential clients.
• Conduct policy pricing and underwriting assessments for new business applications and collaborate with underwriters to review and recommend cases.
• Responsible for raising awareness of the company in the marketplace and securing new customers.
• Negotiating business with all interested parties to secure a competitive and profitable offering.
• Strong understanding of our policy suit and policy structures and an excellent appreciation of negotiating and closing a deal.
• Confident, ambitious, independent self-starter with a desire to succeed in a competitive market.
• A team player, able to work alongside and with other team members to progress and enhance our offering.
Requirement
• A Bachelor degree holder.
• 5-8 years experience gained in a business development or sales remit where building lasting business relationships is essential.
• Confident, ambitious self-starter, responsible for raising awareness of the company in the marketplace with a desire to succeed in a competitive market.
• Excellent relationship and stakeholder management skills.
• Fluency in English, Cantonese and Mandarin.
