2022 and 2023 is a phase of expansion and automation. We are expanding the Preface Ecosystem globally to London, Singapore, Japan, and more and at the same time developing cutting edge technology in preparation for Preface 2.0. We are just getting started.

Role Overview

As we continue our global expansion and digital transformation, we are seeking a Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) to lead and elevate Preface’s global marketing strategy. The CMO will be a key executive team member, responsible for telling the company’s brand story, driving customer engagement, and accelerating revenue growth through innovative, data-driven marketing strategies. This role requires a visionary leader with a deep understanding of digital-first marketing, consumer behavior, locational nuances and brand building at a global scale.

Key Responsibilities

• Global & Local Marketing Strategies – Define and execute the overarching marketing strategy to drive brand equity, market leadership, and business growth and sales at a global and local level.

• Revenue & Growth Leadership – Own marketing-driven revenue growth, optimising acquisition, retention, and monetisation strategies across all business units (PPS, PST, PCW).

• Brand & Communications Excellence – Establish and amplify Preface’s brand as a thought leader in EdTech, ensuring consistent messaging across all channels.

• Digital & Performance Marketing – Leverage data-driven insights to optimise multi-channel marketing efforts, including SEO, paid media, CRM, and content marketing.

• Product & Customer Marketing – Enhance customer experience through personalised marketing strategies that drive engagement, loyalty and retention.

• International Expansion & Localisation – Work with local teams to build region-specific marketing playbooks to successfully enter and scale in key global markets.

• Partnerships & PR Media Relations – Cultivate strategic relationships with global and existing Preface partners, media, and influencers, KOLs to drive brand credibility, expansion and sales.

• Innovation & Emerging Trends – Stay ahead of industry trends, leveraging AI, automation, and emerging tech to enhance marketing performance.

• Leadership & Team Development – Build and mentor a world-class marketing team, fostering a culture of creativity, collaboration, and continuous learning.

Key Qualifications

• Proven experience in a senior marketing leadership role (VP/CMO) within an EdTech, SaaS, FMCG, Hospitality, or technology-driven company.

• Ability to bring to life founders vision, get their hands dirty and work within a fast growing team to ensure business objectives are front and center of all work.

• Strong expertise in global brand strategy, digital performance marketing, and data-driven decision-making.

• Deep understanding of user acquisition, engagement, and retention strategies across multiple markets.

• Experience scaling marketing operations in a high-growth, local and international environment.

• Strong financial acumen with a track record of optimising marketing budgets, and driving revenue growth through unit economics.

• Exceptional leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

Ability to balance strategic thinking with hands-on execution in a fast-paced environment.
