We develop renewable energy related application/products, and also we run Ed-tech training for schools/corporate with focus on renewable energy and modern agriculture. We are looking for proactive and passionate candidate who has relevant skills in Energy/ Power Engineering to help facilitate this meaning work to its fruition, details of the position are shown below:
Battery and new energy tech R&D engineer
Duties:
• Lead the R&D of battery and new energy technology-related products and systems, including but not limited to: energy storage systems, battery material optimization, cell design, thermal management systems, and energy conversion technologies.
• Optimize the energy efficiency and reliability of existing products, and iteratively develop next-generation battery technology solutions.
• Analyze technological trends in the new energy sector (e.g., electric vehicles, energy storage station demands) to drive commercialization and market adaptation.
• Design and execute battery performance tests (cycle life, safety, energy density, etc.), ensuring compliance with international standards (e.g., UN38.3, IEC 62619).
• Assist in developing educational content for new energy technologies (e.g., STEAM/ESG curriculum design and experimental modules).
• Perform above duties according to project budget and timeline and provide other necessary assistances to teams when required
Qualification and Experiences:
• Graduate of degree or above related to Materials Science and Engineering, Energy and Power Engineering, Power Electronics, etc
• 3+ years of experience in battery R&D (e.g., Li-ion batteries, fuel cells, sodium-ion batteries), with familiarity in electrochemical simulation tools (e.g., COMSOL, ANSYS) and battery testing equipment (e.g., Arbin, Maccor).
• Proficiency in Battery Management System (BMS) development, utilizing tools like MATLAB/Simulink and Python for algorithm design and data analysis.
• Hands-on experience in full-cycle battery development (from lab prototypes to mass production validation), with knowledge of industry certification processes (e.g., UL, CE).
