we're partnering exclusively with a well-known premium European confectionery brand in finding a newly created APAC Sales Manager to further grow their brand presence and sales distribution (b2b/b2c/retail) across the APAC region
The individual will be responsible in formulating sales and marketing strategies for respective countries and channels in the APAC region to drive growth and brand presence. Additionally, the individual will also be managing the appointed distributors in each of the country to ensure positive growth and to be able to explore opportunities in the region to maximize sales including opening of retail stores and/or (seasonal) pop-ups
about the job.
• Responsible in formulating end-to-end sales strategies to drive the sales and brand growth of the brand in the APAC region
• Responsible in managing multiple distributors across the region to ensure positive brand and sales growth including marketing campaigns aligning with global brand guidelines
• Distributor management review to ensure effective and efficient delivery across the region
• Analysis on market landscape to identify potential business opportunities in untouched markets and/or channels in the APAC region to expand distribution and presence
• Collaboration and communication with HQ on regional projects
• Develop and implement marketing strategies to drive sales performance in the respective region
• Analysis to track brand and distribution performance
skills & experiences required.
• Degree holder in business or related discipline
• Minimum 5 years experience in sales, business development and/or account management with regional exposure is preferred
• Regional exposure in distributor management is a MUST
• Retail management experience is a bonus
• Experience in the food & beverage/confectionery category is preferred
• Strong communication and negotiation skills
• Self-motivated, relationship-oriented and strong business acumen
• Team player, strong project management
