The Product Head for Actuarial Tech is responsible for overseeing technology solution design, delivery of tech products to enable the realization of business outcomes, as well as the smooth transition into BAU and Technology Run & Maintain teams. In the medium term, the role will also lead the Technology solution architecture design of the FFP Actuarial Workstream. The individual will collaborate with the FFP Actuarial Business Owner and Delivery lead as their key Technology partner on the day-to-day execution of the FFP plan. This role will require a strong understanding of both technology (i.e. Actuarial model point files, Assumption Management, Run Orchestration workflow) and business domains (i.e. Insurance Actuarial modelling and results production processes, IFRS 17). Role and Responsibilities Be accountable for solution design recommendations, ensure alignment to global tech standards and roadmap, justification for recommendation in terms of business benefits and alignment to technology roadmap outcomes. Provide timely and concise updates to Finance GTP Head and GTPC/SRC governance committees Lead and motivate diverse teams of technical specialists Understand and analyze business requirements and translate into tech solution design ideas Oversee Technology Architecture Design (Application, integration, infrastructure) design of all Accounting & Reporting tech products Facilitate collaboration between business (Finance / Actuarial) and technology stakeholders effectively in the co-creation of tech solution design ideas. Coordinate effectively with tech delivery leads in the planning, execution of tech product delivery and transition to Run team post go-live. Effective management of diverse teams, comprising of internal and external resources Qualifications Minimum 10+ years of relevant experience and proven track record within Insurance sectors Bachelor’s degree or equivalent level Actuarial Data input and results management solution architecture design and delivery skills, involving Modelling platform including Prophet or similar in the market. Data architecture and data engineering background in Insurance/Actuarial sectors Cloud architecture design Technology delivery project management experience Team leadership and management qualities Effective communication skills – written, verbal and presentation to senior stakeholders and large audiences Awareness of Actuarial modelling and results production processes Prudential is an equal opportunity employer.
