Are you a creative marketing professional eager to connect stakeholders to relevant services and resources through compelling campaigns? The University Library is seeking a dynamic, innovative, and proactive Marketing Officer to join our forward-thinking team. In this role, you'll develop strategic marketing initiatives that showcase our service and resources to our diverse community.

Responsibilities:

• Develop, design, and deliver strategic marketing promotions and campaigns for the Library;

• Create and implement engaging marketing activities across both digital and print formats;

• Serve as webmaster for the Library's website, ensuring content remains fresh and accessible;

• Collaborate with stakeholders across campus to promote library services and resources; and

• Present a professional and impactful profile of the Library through consistent messaging and branding.

Requirements:

• A higher diploma/ associate degree or an university degree;

• Four to six years of relevant experience in marketing, public relations, or graphic design;

• Proficiency in both written and spoken English and Chinese (including Cantonese and Putonghua);

• Exceptional organisational skills with ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously;

• Strong written communication skills and effective interpersonal abilities;

• Expertise in design software including Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign;

• Experience with content management systems like WordPress; and

• Knowledge of web development tools such as JavaScript and CSS (highly desirable).

The initial appointment will be made on a fixed-term contract of two years, with the possibility of re-appointment based on mutual agreement and funding availability.

Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
