Our client is a global clearing house offering clearing, settlement and market access services to the world’s leading derivatives exchanges.

This is a newly created role to drive the sales effort across Asia, for both existing and new clients. You will do this through your own direct BD and by providing expertise and leadership to the Go-To-Market team. You will be expected to effectively execute on sales strategies, in compliance with legal and regulatory standards, and establish beneficial relationships with key stakeholders in the region.

This is a Hong Kong based role offering relocation assistance and work visa sponsorship if required. Excellent base salary + performance related bonus.

Requirements

• 10+ years of proven success in a strategic sales role at an exchange, broker or trading vendor

• Extensive derivatives trading knowledge, (other asset classes are a nice to have)

• Clearing and settlement experience would be helpful

• Fluent Mandarin and English essential

• Existing relationships with tier one buy side and sell side firms

• Existing relationships with HFTs, prop trading firms and quant funds

• Team player with a hunter sales mentality

• Energy and enthusiasm to motivate and encourage the team

• High level of comfort around Compliance and Legal requirements

• Experience of sales reporting and performance tracking

• Cross-functional collaboration regionally and globally
