Collaboration and project management are key aspects of this role, requiring leadership of an e-commerce team composed of operational, technical, and UI/UX specialists. Responsibilities include fostering effective communication among stakeholders to align operations across marketing campaigns and coordinating with third-party vendors, offline stores, and payment gateways to ensure a seamless customer experience from order to delivery. The role involves close collaboration with brand headquarters and internal teams to manage the daily operations of the e-store in Hong Kong, including promotions and digital initiatives to drive traffic and sales. Key tasks include overseeing inventory tracking, order fulfillment, payment processing, online merchandising, website UI/UX optimization, O2O operations for offline pickup, and content creation for promotional pages, all while managing tools like SAP Hybris and Adobe Experience Manager.
Technical expertise is a cornerstone of this role, as it requires being the go-to resource for team members and clients on SAP Hybris operations, rule-setting logic, debugging, Adobe Experience Manager, and advanced Excel formulas. The position involves guiding the team and clients in adopting new technologies and exploring innovative tools and methodologies to optimize workflow and enhance performance. A strong understanding of advanced technology and system operations is essential to effectively manage and improve e-commerce processes.
The Successful Applicant
The ideal candidate should possess a Bachelor's degree in e-Commerce, Digital Marketing, or a related business discipline, with a minimum of 8 years of experience in e-commerce operations or to a lesser extent, digital marketing. The candidate must have extensive knowledge and hands-on experience with SAP Hybris commerce systems, Adobe Experience Manager, Adobe Analytics, and other related tools. Strong business acumen and analytical skills are essential, particularly in areas such as digital strategy, e-commerce, sales, quality assurance, and campaign management. The role requires demonstrated ability to lead projects and manage change across multiple disciplines simultaneously, along with proven project management skills and a successful track record of delivering projects on time and within budget. Excellent communication skills in both written and spoken English and Chinese are critical, with the ability to articulate complex concepts and strategies clearly and effectively.
