The role:
At Clarins, we are committed to creating exceptional customer experiences while championing innovation and sustainability. As the Senior E-Commerce Manager, you will lead our digital journey in Hong Kong, driving online growth and fostering meaningful customer connections aligned with our brand values.
What you’ll do:
E-Commerce Strategy & Operations
• Develop and implement strategies to drive online revenue, market share, and customer loyalty.
• Oversee website content and ensure alignment with brand messaging and marketing campaigns.
• Optimize the online customer journey to improve navigation, checkout processes, and user experience.
• Own E-commerce A&P (media, sampling, packaging etc investments) and P&L for HK with a focus to drive revenue target and main on site KPIs (traffic, conversion, AOV..)
Digital Marketing
• Manage digital campaigns (SEO, SEM, paid social, email) to drive traffic, engagement, and ROI.
• Lead CRM initiatives to enhance customer retention through personalized campaigns.
• Collaborate with agencies and vendors to apply industry best practices and innovative approaches.
Data Analysis & Optimization
• Use analytics tools to track performance, identify trends, and refine strategies.
• Conduct A/B testing to optimize campaigns and site performance.
• Provide actionable insights through detailed performance reporting.
Technology & Platform Management
• Ensure the e-commerce platform operates efficiently, resolving any technical issues promptly.
• Oversee integrations with third-party tools and implement platform enhancements.
• Drive UX/UI improvements to elevate the overall shopping experience.
Budget Management
• Plan, monitor, and manage budgets to achieve financial targets efficiently.
What you have:
Experience & Leadership : 8–12 years in e-commerce or digital marketing, with proven success in driving growth and leading cross-functional teams.
Technical Expertise : Proficiency in e-commerce platforms (e.g., Salesforce Commerce Cloud, Shopify) and analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Tableau).
Knowledge of key acquisition platform for Search, Display, Social (Google, Facebook, Youtube, Instagram, ..and analytics (Google Analytics, Omniture, Tag Management Systems)
Knowledge of SEO
Previously used project/task management software system, Agile methodology tools (Confluence/JIRA/Wiki) is a plus.
Strategic & Analytical Skills : Strong data-driven decision-making, ability to analyze metrics, and adapt strategies based on industry trends.
Customer-Centric Mindset : Focused on enhancing customer experiences through UX/UI improvements, personalized marketing, and innovative solutions.
Communication & Budget Management : Excellent communication skills and experience managing budgets to achieve financial and operational targets.
