Our client, a leading e-commerce agency, is seeking an experienced Operations Manager to join their team in Hong Kong. This role is essential for developing and implementing e-commerce strategies tailored to understand and address the unique business needs of a key client, a leading consumer electronics brand.
Your Role
As the Ecommerce Operation Manager, you will:
• Develop and implement e-commerce strategies to boost customer engagement, increase online acquisition and sales revenues, and promote operational efficiency.
• Analyze sales and traffic data to provide strategic insights and recommendations, adapting strategies as necessary.
• Engage deeply in understanding clients’ industries, business needs, and company culture to support their growth and success.
• Stay updated on e-commerce market trends and customer behavior, applying this knowledge to business strategies.
• Lead the e-commerce team, fostering agility and readiness to adapt to new changes.
• Facilitate effective communication among team stakeholders to ensure alignment of operations across each marketing campaign.
• Coordinate with third-party fulfillment vendors, offline stores, payment gateways, and various departments to ensure a smooth supply chain and system.
• Liaise closely with the brand headquarters and internal teams to operate the e-Store in Hong Kong and ensure smooth daily operations.
• Collaborate with media agencies and headquarters to develop and launch promotions or new digital initiatives.
• Oversee the team and manage daily operations, including inventory tracking, order fulfillment, payment transactions, online merchandising, website UI/UX management, O2O operations, SAP Hybris and Adobe Experience Manager operations, and promotion page copywriting and visual creation.
• Be the go-to expert for SAP Hybris operations, rule-setting logic, debugging, Adobe Experience Manager operations, and adoption of new technologies.
• Guide the team and clients in exploring innovative tools and methodologies to optimise workflow and enhance performance.
What You’ll Need to Succeed
• Bachelor’s degree in e-Commerce, Digital Marketing, or a business-related discipline.
• Minimum of 10 years of working experience, with at least 8 years in E-Commerce Operation, Digital Marketing, or B2C online channels.
• Extensive knowledge and hands-on experience with SAP Hybris commerce system, Adobe Experience Manager, Adobe Analytics, and other tools.
• Strong business acumen and analytical skills in digital, e-commerce, sales, quality assurance, and campaigns.
• Demonstrated the ability to lead projects and manage change across multiple disciplines concurrently.
• Proven project management skills with a track record of delivering projects on time and on budget.
• Excellent communication skills in both written and spoken English and Chinese, with the ability to clearly convey complex concepts and strategies.
