Overview
We are seeking a Cyber Security Manager to join our client’s Tech Risk Management department. This is a vital role in ensuring the bank effectively manages cyber security risks while complying with regulatory requirements in Hong Kong and Mainland China.
Key Responsibilities
• Analyze current cyber security practices in the banking sector and propose enhancements to existing monitoring mechanisms.
• Review security strategies, management processes, and technical standards, participating in vulnerability assessments and cyber incident investigations.
• Execute the technology risk management process to identify, measure, monitor, and control technology-related risks associated with systems and initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with the bank’s IT control policies and provide reports with recommendations following technology-related incidents.
• Implement risk management procedures to enforce required policies in daily operations.
• Collaborate with technology teams and relevant parties on technology-related initiatives and perform security assessments.
Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related disciplines; professional certifications (CISSP, CISM, CISA, etc.) are preferred.
• 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in IT/Cyber Security, e-Banking security, or risk control.
• Solid understanding of banking regulations and frameworks, including HKMA guidelines.
• Proven ability to write policies, procedures, and reports effectively.
• Familiarity with infrastructure platforms and security issues.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with proficiency in English and Chinese (including Putonghua).
