Your role will be focused on SME, and Corporate Business Development in Hong Kong (possibly regionally):
• Increase new business numbers for group insurance for companies, specifically in Hong Kong and possibly regionally in APAC.
• Focus on SME, MNC’s, Professional Service Organizations and large insurance clients – identify potential targets/pipeline
• Develop and manage new opportunities for lead generation through international and local groups, networking, corporate events and other potential areas such as individual leads or existing clients
• Utilize sales tools and maximize all opportunities in the process of closing a sale resulting in service cross-selling
• Identify the expectations and needs of the prospect and prepare and adjust proposals accordingly
• Representing customers best interests, providing unbiased advise and distinctive unparalleled customer service
• Holding strong knowledge of internal tools (Outlook, Yellow Sheets, CRM, MO, PCP, etc.), following its associated procedures and efficiently utilizing them to achieve best results
• Constantly building and maintaining understanding and knowledge of insurance companies’ products and services, being able to identify and compare the advantages, pitfalls and selling points
• Maintaining market awareness with regards to competitors and general market developments such as compliance and EB trends
Skills/Experience required
IIQE 1,3,5
Minimum 2 years experience in the insurance industry, ideally in a sales capacity
Degree holder
Cantonese and fluent English speaking skills
