Reporting to the senior management team and stationing at Hong Kong HQ, the ideal candidate is responsible to drive and implement the Company’s branding and communications initiatives to support business priorities. The role requires extensive collaboration with different business functions to maximize business benefits.
The role:
• Provides marketing and corporate communications support to the Company
• Initiates and execute the branding campaign, reinforce the Company’s branding and develop new Brand Identity Guidelines
• Develops new marketing collaterals with the new brand image
• Revamps and manage the Company’s social media platforms
Key accountabilities:
1) Manage and take charge of the Company’s brand reinforcement initiatives
• Understand the corporate culture and review the Company’s core values, mission and vision;
• Conduct a brand discovery session with all stakeholders;
• Analyze the Company’s competitive advantage;
• Develop a new brand for the Company and its Brand Identity Guidelines;
• Manage and evaluate the execution of the brand reinforcement campaign.
2) Development of the Company’s marketing communications collateral
(a) Marketing and communication platforms
• Revamp the Company’s marketing and communication platforms and collaterals with the new brand, including but not limited to corporate website, LinkedIn and Youtube
(b) Video production and visual storytelling
• Produce compelling video content including bite-sized videos for social media, corporate videos and event recaps for key events;
• Utilize visual storytelling techniques to enhance the Company’s brand presence across all digital channels
(c) Content strategy and implementation
• Develop and implement content strategies for video and graphic content across digital platforms
• Draft and publish press releases and other Company’s announcements on the Company’s social media platforms
(d) BTL marketing collateral production
• Design and produce of company brochure, newsletters, PowerPoint decks for sales & marketing and bank communications purposes
3) Media relations, communications and crisis management
• Provide strategic communication support to senior management to align messaging with brand objectives
• Handle media enquiries, foster strong relationships with local and international media
• Develop crisis response communication strategies, processes and standard operating procedures.
4) Manage, coordinate and liaise with internal parties for various marketing and communications events/ activities, including but not limited to:
• Expo booths, company parties or any other company events
• Design and production of Company’s branded merchandise
Qualifications and experience:
• Bachelor's degree or above in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, or a related field;
• 5-10 years of experience in corporate communications, media relations, marketing or brand management. Experience in shipping/ bunker/ energy/ oil and gas sectors is an advantage;
• Prior success in developing comprehensive brand strategies to achieve business objectives. Experience in rebranding is a plus;
• Experience in managing diverse platforms and tasks, including but not limited to social media, content creation, storytelling, media buying, data analysis, and reporting;
• Exceptional communication skills in both English and Chinese, with proficiency in written and verbal forms;
• Ability to communicate flawlessly with all levels within the Company including Senior Management and cross-functional teams;
• Team leader and player with strong sense of responsibilities; and
• Positive working demeanor.
