Position Overview:
Layout is a leading online service early-stage startup, offering customized printing and branding solutions to individuals and brands. We are now seeking a highly motivated Marketing Intern to join our team on a part-time basis. This is an excellent opportunity for a recent university graduate to gain valuable experience in the marketing field and contribute to the success of a dynamic company.
Responsibilities:
• Execute social media marketing campaigns and content calendar across platforms like Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, and Facebook, as per established strategies.
• Support the Business Development & Marketing Manager and Founder with various marketing tasks.
• Create engaging and informative content for social media, in line with brand guidelines.
• Assist with the development of fresh ideas and suggestions to support ongoing marketing campaigns.
• Conduct market research and competitive analysis to inform future marketing initiatives.
• Research and implement community-building tactics to foster engagement and brand loyalty.
• Stay up-to-date on the latest marketing trends and technologies.
• Manage and update project boards on platforms like Slack, Trello, or Monday.com.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's and Undergraduate degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field (recent university graduate preferred).
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Strong knowledge of social media platforms like Twitter, Instagram, Facebook & Linkedin is a must.
• Experience/knowledge of community-building tactics on social media.
• Proficient with content creation, including copywriting and graphic design with tools like Adobe Creative Suite and/or Canva.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Proactive and self-motivated with a strong work ethic.
• A portfolio of marketing work demonstrating creativity, writing skills, and campaign execution is a huge plus.
• Experience with project management tools like Slack, Trello, or Monday.com is a plus
