Your Role:
As the Business Development Manager, you will play a pivotal role in driving revenue growth through new customer acquisitions. Key responsibilities include:
- Identifying and prospecting new clients, focusing on acquiring new logos and expanding the customer base.
- Building and managing a robust sales pipeline, utilising various lead generation techniques, including cold calling, networking, and referrals.
- Conducting thorough market research to identify target industries, key stakeholders, and the competitive landscape.
- Developing and executing a strategic sales plan to achieve assigned Annual Recurring Revenue (ARR) targets.
- Engaging with prospects to understand their business needs, challenges, and goals, and positioning the company's marketing automation solutions as a valuable solution.
- Conducting product demonstrations and presentations to showcase the features and benefits of the SaaS platform.
- Collaborating with internal teams, including marketing and customer success, to ensure smooth onboarding and successful implementation for new clients.
- Negotiating contracts and closing deals, adhering to company pricing guidelines and policies.
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date sales records and activity reports in the CRM system.
- Staying informed about industry trends, market dynamics, and competitor activities to identify new business opportunities.
What You'll Need to Succeed:
To excel in this role, you should possess the following qualifications and skills:
- Minimum of 5 years of new logo hunter sales experience in SaaS.
- Proven track record in building a strong sales pipeline and achieving assigned ARR targets.
- Familiarity with marketing technology (MarTech) or Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software is an advantage.
- Good command of English, Cantonese, and Mandarin languages.
- Strong negotiation and closing skills, with the ability to drive deals to successful closure.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex concepts in a clear and concise manner.
- Self-motivated and driven, with a passion for hunting for new business opportunities.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Customer-focused with a consultative selling approach.
